Delmont Private - Detoxification Program

Delmont Private Hospital offers a range of services to treat people with both mental health disorders and drug and alcohol issues.

The aim of the Substance Use & Addiction Program (SUAP) is to enable individuals to reduce the personal and social harms associated with their substance abuse and/or addictive behaviours. The program provides a safe environment in which they are encouraged to learn new skills to manage and cope with cravings and stress. If required individuals can receive a supervised detoxification and withdrawal treatment program in an inpatient setting.

Day Program Treatment:

Access to the program is either by the direct entry or as part of a transition from an inpatient stay. An individualised treatment plan is developed upon admission to the program and is tailored to specific recovery needs.

Inpatient Treatment:

The SUAP withdrawal and short-term treatment program, offers a comprehensive group program 6 days a week over a two-week period. Patients attend daily addiction specific group therapy sessions that address individual and broader issues.

This service is for anyone aged 18 years and over with alcohol or substance use addiction problems living in Victoria.

There may be fees associated with this service. Patients must have private current health insurance or work cover approval or be self-funded to access this service.
