SalvoCare Eastern The Bridge Programme (The Basin Rehab Centre)
SalvoCare Eastern The Bridge Programme is a residential rehabilitation and recovery program for anyone aged 18 years and over with alcohol and drug addictions.
The Salvation Army runs a residential withdrawal and rehabilitation program at The Basin Centre in Victoria. The program is run by a professional team who hold the ideals and values of the Salvation Army.
The Basin Centre provides a therapeutic program with a holistic approach to recovery from drug or alcohol addictions. The program is available to both men and women, and can accommodate up to 36 people (11 women, 25 men). Individuals can experience 16 weeks of "clean time" from drugs and alcohol in a safe and supportive environment.
The Basin Centre have a dedicated team who provide professional and caring support. The counsellors/case managers and post residential support workers will assist in developing an individual recovery plan. They aim to help both men and women understand and overcome addictive behaviours. With the support of the Basin staff, participants are encouraged to be their own change agents in the self-healing and recovery process.
