Young Carers Network
The Young Carers Network is a place for young carers, aged up to 25 years, to learn about the support services available, access resources and share their story and opinions with others.
Carers Gateway connects individuals with an Australian-wide network of carer service providers. Carers Gateway also have dedicated young carer support workers to assist users in finding the right services.
Young carers are people up to 25 years old who provide unpaid care and support to a family member or friend with a disability, a physical or mental illness, a substance dependency, or who is aged. There are 235,500 young carers in Australia.
Young Carers Network will provide access to a range of services including being able to:
- Find support services
- Learn helpful tips and share their own
- Read young carer stories and share their own
- Find young carer events
- Learn about financial support
- Learn about young carers
- Join the Young Carers Network
- Apply for the Young Carers Bursary Program

This service is for carers aged up to 25 years old living in Australia.
