Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS) - Dandenong Day Program

Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS) Dandenong Day Program is a safe space for young people aged 14-21 years old who are seeking help about their problems with drug and/or alcohol use.

The Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS) is one of Australia’s largest, youth-specific community service organisation. While the prime focus of YSAS remains on effective Youth Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Treatment and sector leadership, the organisation also has extensive experience in providing young people and families with services that support improved mental health and improve meaningful community participation.

YSAS AOD Day Programs are run out of Dandenong (REVAL) and Abbotsford.

REVAL is a safe and friendly space for young peopled aged 14-21 years old to engage in activities and programs that respond to drug and alcohol related issues. Music, graphic design, fashion, adventure and sports, or health and fitness activities are all available as part of the program.

Workers will also support you to find a way back into education, employment or training.

Day program activities usually run for a few hours a day. They are usually groups programs which means individuals will be interacting with other young people too.

YSAS also has other outreach and residential withdrawal AOD programs and specialised mental health programs for young people aged 12-25 years old.

This service is for young people aged 14-21 years old who have significant problems with drug and/or alcohol use and would like to improve their health and wellbeing.

This is a free service.
