Anxiety Recovery Centre Victoria - Helpline
The Anxiety Recovery Centre Victoria (ARCVic) has a OCD and Anxiety Helpline that provides support, information, and referrals to people with anxiety disorders as well as for their families, carers, and mental health care providers.
ARC Helpline provides appropriate and accurate information about anxiety disorders and evidence-based treatment interventions, and referral to professional, community, and health services.
The OCD and Anxiety Helpline aims to assist callers to:
- Understand and manage symptoms of anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression
- Identify problems and barriers to recovery
- Recognise the impact of their disorder on family and relationships
- Develop self-management skills
The Helpline team work on a voluntary basis, and are provided with training and on-going support and supervision by the Helpline Coordinator and other ARCVic Staff.
Eligibility Criteria
This service is for anyone living in Australia.
