COVID should not stop you from seeking help

We encourage you to not delay seeking help, even though it might feel more difficult than usual.

Banyule Community Health - Epping

Banyule Community Health provides a range of free mental health services for individuals, couples, children and families affected by common mental health problems, as well as more complex psychiatric conditions.

Banyule Community Health's counselling may be helpful to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, grief and loss, family violence, past sexual abuse, couple or relationship issues, child or parenting issues, alcohol and other drug dependency issues.

Banyule Community Health seeks to ensure that every person seeking help with a mental health concern receives the right care at the right time from the right person.

Banyule Community Health also provides the LIFT Stepped Care model for mental health. Individuals can receive expert counselling support from mental health nurses, psychologists and counsellors, care coordinators and peer workers. LIFT works with the individual and their care team, building on their strengths, to support their recovery. The service is designed to be flexible, to meet each individual's needs and recognises that the impact of an individual's mental health concerns will vary over time.

This service is available for people of all ages who live, work or study in the Cities of Banyule and Whittlesea, Shire of Nillumbik, and the areas surrounding Wallan and Kinglake.

This is a free service.
