Central Intake - Inner East & Eastern Alcohol and Drug Services (ECADS)
The Eastern Consortium of Alcohol and Drug Services (ECADS) provides a single point of access for all people affected by problematic alcohol and drug use to be assessed and triaged to the support services that best meet their needs.
The Eastern Consortium of Alcohol and Drug Services (ECADS) is a leading provider of alcohol and drug services for the Eastern Catchment of Melbourne.
ECADS is the central intake service for a large network of specialist services which support youth and adults with a range of alcohol and drug concerns. This includes people who may be experiencing mental health problems, family and social disconnect, or have been involved with the courts or police. ECADS offers free, confidential and non-judgement services for individuals affected by drugs or alcohol or to provide support for concerned family members.
The Central Intake & Assessment services including:
- Information and referral to the right supports
- Assessments & individual treatment plans
- Peer Groups and Family Support Groups
- Professional Counselling including for families and youth counselling
- Care and Recovery coordination
- Medical help with withdrawal
- Non-residential withdrawal and an outpatient withdrawal program

This service is for anyone in the Eastern catchment area of Melbourne.
