Central Intake - North & West Metro Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (Uniting)
The North and West Metro Central Intake (Uniting) provides a single point of contact for all individuals affected by problematic alcohol and drug use and referring organisations to be connected to a large network of specialist support services.
Alcohol and other drug (AOD) use can impact physical or mental health, relationships, employment, and community connections. We work with you to understand your needs, your resources, and your goals to help you find the right support.

Services include:
- Counselling for individuals, couples or families
- Withdrawal (detox), rehabilitation, service coordination, or post-withdrawal services
- Services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- Education programs
- Services for youth and young people aged 16-25 years
- Reducing drug related harms and overdose.
Eligibility Criteria
This service is predominantly for anyone in the North, North West and West Catchment area of Melbourne (including Heidelberg and Epping). Victorians outside this area have access to assessment and linkage to suitable services in their own region.
