Centre for YouthAOD Research and Practice
The Centre for Youth AOD Research and Practice aims to provide the youth alcohol and drug workforce and wider community with access to current and up-to-date resources, evidence based training opportunities, and publications that support the upward trajectory for young people.
The Centre for Youth AOD believes that all young people should have a chance to thrive no matter their situation in life. As part of the research and practice component, the Centre for Youth AOD campaign for effective responses to the needs of young people experiencing AOD problems.
The Centre for Youth AOD Research and Practice offers workplace training programs in the youth alcohol and drug (AOD) sector and advisory services. They also collaborate in current evidence based research specifically related to alcohol and drug related issues in young people.
Services include:
- Resources - online resources
- Training - Workplace training programs on evidence-based practice for youth AOD sectors and for anyone working with young people
- Advisory Services for organisations - to promote more effective management of young people
- Research - releasing up-to-date information and current research
Eligibility Criteria
This service is for anyone working in the youth AOD sector or working with young people.
