DPV Health is a not-for-profit organisation that offers a range of health and mental health care services to people of all ages and backgrounds within the community.
DPV Health is an inclusive organisation that celebrates the diversity of all people, and is dedicated to working with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, LGBTIQ community members, those with a disability and newly arrived communities.
DPV staff deliver a wide variety of clinical, support and community services that focus on integrated health promotion, treatment and prevention of illness and injury. These include medical, children and adult NDIS and disability services, Elder and senior services, and dental services.
DPV also delivers a wide range of mental health and wellbeing services, including support for:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Effects of trauma
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Lifestyle changes related to illness
- Grief and loss
- Carers support
- Stress management
- Family violence
- Relationship or personal issues you may need to discuss
- LGBTIQ supportive counselling - individuals and family
- Support and counselling for Refugees and Asylum Seekers
Eligibility Criteria
This service is available to anyone living or working in the cities of Hume and Whittlesea.
Fees
Fees may apply for some services. Some services are free for low and medium income earners.
