Eastern Health - Aboriginal Health Team
Eastern Health's Aboriginal Health team is a community-based health service in Healesville that provides social and emotional wellbeing services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in eastern Melbourne.
Eastern Health is one of Melbourne's largest metropolitan public health services providing a range of mental health, drug and alcohol and specialist services.
The Aboriginal Health team provides services including:
- Social & Emotional Well-Being Counselling
- Drug and Alcohol Counselling
- Psychological & Psychiatric support services
- School-based programs and educational support
Eligibility Criteria
The service is available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and their families who live within the geographical catchment of the Central and Outer East Mental Health Service Area, which includes the areas of Manningham, Boroondara, Monash, Waverly, Box Hill, Whitehorse, Maroondah, Knox and Yarra Ranges.
