Head to Health Mental Health Hubs - West Heidelberg

Head to Health Mental Health hubs offer information, advice, consultation, and treatment for any Victorian who may be experiencing distress, mental ill health or suicidal thoughts.

Head to Health (formerly HeadtoHelp) is a unique service, and the first state-wide step towards integrating the mental health system and coordinating care for people, when and where they need it most.

Head to Health comprises the central 1800 595 212 intake, advice and referral number as well as 15 mental health hubs across Victoria in established community health care settings.

Head to Health offer different services depending on an individuals needs including,

  • Providing care at a Head to Health hub
  • Connect people with suitable existing services and/or
  • Connect to specialist or acute mental health services, including into emergency care

At Head to Health, an experienced mental health professional will listen and work with people to find the best ways to get the help they need. For individuals who have felt distressed for some time, or have symptoms that are starting to impact their life, physical health or relationships, Head to Health can direct them to services that can assist.

The Head to Health teams include mental health nurses, social workers, peer workers, alcohol and other drug workers, and other allied health professionals who work with GPs and psychologists who can provide support through telehealth, or onsite at a hub.

The service is for any Victorian experiencing distress, suicidal thoughts or mental ill health.

This is a free service.
