Neami National - Glen Waverley
Neami is a community-based organisation that provides services to improve mental health and wellbeing in local communities across Australia, including East and North East Melbourne.
Neami National have been working with individuals for over 30 years, supporting over 9,000 Australians each year in their recovery from mental illness, alcohol and drug issues, risk of suicide, and homelessness.
Neami takes a recovery-based and evidence-informed approach and provides inclusive and person-centred support. Neami believes that everyone can live a good life based on their values, strengths and goals, and Neami sees their role as walking beside individuals to support their recovery.
Neami supports people who:
- Have never accessed mental health support
- Have been receiving mental health support for a while
- Need ongoing and intensive support
- Have a mental health diagnosis (or multiple diagnoses)
- Have recently been to hospital (or acute care)

Eligibility Criteria
This service is available for individuals aged 16-65 years.

Services are free or low-cost.
