Rainbow Door
Rainbow Door is a free service for all LGBTIQA+ people in Victoria, their friends, family and peers who are looking for advice, or may be needing some further support and referrals to mental health or suicide prevention services.
Rainbow Door aims to connect all LGBTQI+ people (Lesbian, Gay, Queer, Asexual, BrotherBoys, SisterGirls) to services they need by providing information, support and referrals.
All staff at the Rainbow Door are experienced specialist workers with case management, suicide intervention, and risk assessment skills. They can assist with improving access to LGBTIQA+ friendly services and connection to advocacy or advice in relation to mental health, disability, relationship or support for older people.
Rainbow Door is accessible through email, phone and text messaging services. Callers will be able to leave voice and text messages after hours and get a call back during operational hours (10am - 5pm, every day).
