ReachOut Online Community

ReachOut Community is a forum for 14-25 year old Australians to chat and connect 24 hours a day with other young people about their mental health and wellbeing in a safe place.

ReachOut is the most accessed online mental health service for young people aged 14-25 years old and their parents in Australia. All information is based on the latest evidence and is designed by experts and young people. ReachOut offers trusted information, self-help strategies, and peer support communities that all focus on supporting a young person's mental health and wellbeing through everyday issues and tough times.

The ReachOut Community is a supportive, safe, and anonymous space where people care about what is happening for you, because they have been there too.

ReachOut’s online community is a moderated peer support space for Australian young people aged 14–25 years. It is monitored from 9am-11pm, every day of the year.

Some benefits of the ReachOut Community:

  • Read what others are saying about similar situations
  • Get insight into what is happening
  • Ask questions
  • Work through worries anonymously
  • Connect with like-minded people
  • Stop going at it alone

Please note that ReachOut is not a crisis support service and cannot offer one-to-one counselling.

The service is for young people aged 14-25 years old living in Australia.
