Reconnexion offers treatment, support, and information about benzodiazepine dependency and withdrawal symptoms.
Reconnexion is a counselling service for individuals needing information, support, and advice from benzodiazepine withdrawal and support for overcoming the issues that emerge such as anxiety, insomnia, and depression.
The experienced team of counsellors work with individuals and their GP to design a withdrawal plan that involves a gradual reduction from benzodiazepines for each individual.
The team provides non-judgemental and empathic support, up-to-date information, and evidence based strategies which have been proven to succeed.
This program offers:
- Benzodiazepine dependency and withdrawal treatment
- Telephone and email support and information service
- Benzodiazepine education and training for health practitioners
- Community information session
- Benzodiazepine secondary consultations
- Resources (benzodiazepines and health promotion)
- Anxiety and Depression counselling
