Rural Health Connect - Perinatal Loss Support
Rural Health Connect offers support for mothers and families who have experienced pregnancy loss including miscarriage, termination for medical reasons, still birth and neonatal death.
Rural Health Connect offer support for people affected by perinatal loss via telehealth psychology sessions (loss inclusive of miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or termination for medical reasons). They have low cost and bulk billing sessions available with a Mental Health Care Plan. Psychologists are trained in perinatal loss with a lens on culturally safe engagement. |
Eligibility Criteria
This program is open to anyone in Australia (mothers, non-birthing partners, family members) who has experienced perinatal loss, whether recently or long ago.
Fees
Low cost and bulk billing sessions available with a Mental Health Care Plan. Rural Health Connect GPs can provide a MHCP where required.
