Turning Point - Family Information Sessions
Turning Point's Family Information Sessions are for family and friends who find it confusing and distressing to support a loved one affected by addiction.
Turning Point offers monthly Family Information Sessions at Box Hill Hospital for friends, family members and carers of people affected by addiction.
The sessions are usually run for 1 hour every month.
The sessions are led by trained facilitators and focus on:
- Explaining what a loved one may be going through
- Providing suggestions for how to offer support
- Discussing services that can specifically support the wellbeing of family, friends and carers
- Answering any questions individuals may have regarding addiction
Eligibility Criteria
Anyone living in Australia can access this service.
