Turning Point Specialist Pharmacotherapy Service - Box Hill
Turning Point's Specialist Pharmacotherapy Service (SPS) clinic supports individuals experiencing opioid use disorder, in combination with other complex needs (e.g. co-occurring mental health difficulties, homelessness).
Turning Point's Specialist Pharmacotherapy Service (SPS) is an addiction clinic for individuals with opioid use disorder and dependence seeking medical management and support by specialist doctors.
Individuals seen in this clinic are stabilised on appropriate medications to assist them with their opioid dependency (i.e. methadone or buprenorphine) with addiction specialist oversight and regular review.
Individuals are transferred out of this SPS clinic to community GP prescribers once they have achieved a period of sustained remission.
A GP referral is required to access this service.
Eligibility Criteria
This service is for anyone aged 18 years and over with opioid dependency living in Victoria.
