Victorian Transcultural Mental Health

Victorian Transcultural Mental Health (VTMH) is a state-wide peak body that supports the mental health of diverse people, communities and systems and facilitates various educaton, workshops, seminars and forums throughout Victoria.

Victorian Transcultural Mental Health (VTMH) is the lead transcultural and intersectional mental health service for the state of Victoria.

VTMH works closely with the mental health sector, as well as the public health, human service, education, and community sectors. VTMH aims to advocate strongly for cultural safety and supports the examination of societal structures, service systems, and institutional factors.

VTMH provide a range of services for professionals which include:

  • Group Learning - sessions bring professionals together to network, critically reflect, exchange knowledge, and learn together
  • Small workshops - workshops encourage practitioners to explore a range of key practice areas that support culturally safe and responsive service delivery
  • Seminars, Webinars, Forums - free monthly Seminar Series or Webinars which host expert speakers on a range of mental health and diversity themes
  • Resources- interactive online information for people in all sectors
