WaveCare
Wavecare has been providing support to people in the City of Monash for over 40 years, helping those in need of assistance due to illness, grief & loss, abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, homelessness, crisis, misfortune, disability, relationship issues and isolation.
The practitioners at Wavecare have had years of education and professional training and specialise in various therapeutic interventions.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy
- Family/Systems Therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Mindfulness Based Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy
- Play Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
Eligibility Criteria
The service is available to adults and children that have a current Mental Health Care Plan and GP referral.
Fees
This service has a cost of $140 per session with a Medicare rebate of $90. Bulk billing is available to anyone on a Services Australia pension.
