Youth Projects - AOD Counselling

Youth Projects provides a free, confidential counselling service for people age 12-25 years old who are experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) related issues.

Youth Projects is an independent, registered charity which provides front line support to young people and individuals experiencing disadvantage, unemployment, homelessness, alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues.

The Youth Alcohol and Drug Team (YNOT) delivers non-judgemental counselling and treatment for individuals aged 12-25 years old, with a harm minimisation approach.

The experienced team at YNOT understand that every individual has different needs and therefore take a personalised, tailored approach to developing goals and individual treatment plans with young people.

As a Youth Projects program, the AOD workers have direct links with a complete range of support services that make it easier to get help and to support each young person to achieve their goals. This includes referrals for withdrawal (detox), rehabilitation and pharmacotherapy, health care, mental health, education, employment and training.

This service is for anyone:

  • Aged 12-25 years old
  • Experiencing issues or concerns about the use of drug and alcohol substances
  • Live in, or have a connection of any kind to, the cities of Moreland, Whittlesea, Yarra, Banyule, Darebin, Hume and Nilumbuk

This is a free service.
