Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS) - Residential Rehabilitation
YSAS offers a structured, supportive inpatient rehabilitative program that gives young people aged 16-20 years of age an opportunity to manage their drug and/or alcohol issues in a drug free space.
The Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS) is one of Australia’s largest, youth-specific community service organisation. While the prime focus of YSAS remains on effective Youth Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment and sector leadership, the organisation also has extensive experience in providing young people and families with services that support improved mental health and improve meaningful community participation.
YSAS Residential Rehabilitation program is based in Eltham. Birribi is a 15 bed therapeutic community that provides support for up to 6 months for young people 16 – 20 years and is a chance to work on their health, wellbeing and substance use.
YSAS rehabilitation services are free, confidential and voluntary.
The program includes individual and group therapy, counselling, primary health and mental health support and medical care, regular recreational, educational, training opportunities, and developing important life skills including community living and shared responsibility.
YSAS also has other AOD outreach and day programs and specialised mental health programs for young people aged 12-25 years old.

This service is for young people aged 16-20 years old living in Victoria.
